Our Story
At Mavuno Nordic, we connect East Africa’s rich farming heritage with Nordic business values. We farm, source, process, and distribute staple foods with consistent quality, empowering farmers and feeding communities worldwide.
From lush rice paddies, cassava fields, to thriving coffee groves and fishing waters, we cultivate and carefully prepare rice, cassava, maize, beans, fish, soybeans and green coffee. Our products come from our own family lands and from trusted partnerships with farmers who shares the same empathy and respect for our lands and its history.
Every grain, every bean, and every catch are organically cleaned, sorted, and prepared so our customers can enjoy safe, consistent quality products every time. But our mission goes beyond food.
We are committed to empowering farmers, creating meaningful employment for youth, and contributing to regional food security and Education.

Mission
At Mavuno Nordic, we grow and prepare premium organic rice, cassava, maize, beans, fish, and green coffee beans from our own family farms and through partnerships with local farmers who share generations of Tanzanian farming wisdom. Guided by Nordic business values, we deliver carefully cleaned, sorted, and ready-to-use products to local and wholesale markets — while creating local jobs, supporting food security, and caring for our people, our land, and our shared future.
